Ava Starnes (she/her) is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University who received her BFA in Visual Art and BA in Art History in May 2023. Primarily a painter, she has produced extensive work in portraiture in studio and public settings. She has exhibited work in the PeeDee Regional Art Competition with the Florence County Museum, the First and Second Annual Juried Student Exhibition with the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery, and The Cube Galleries at Coastal Carolina University. Starnes received first prize for the exhibition in print 2022 Archarios Literary Art Magazine. Starnes’ public mural work can be found in Downtown Conway, SC
